Wireless Microphone Systems Buying Guide

2020-01-10
How does wireless microphone system work?
Wireless microphone system is consisted of 3 major components, which are transmitting antenna of the transmitter, transmitter and receiver. Throughout the wireless transmitter, it can convert the audio to electrical signal. By processing the internal circuit, the audio signal will emit to surrounding, which has completed the wireless audio transmission. However, wireless microphone cannot substitute wired microphone as the advantage of it is easier mobility and wired microphone still has better sound system.

The transmitter in wireless microphone systems
The principle behind the wireless microphone transmitter is converting the sound to analog signal processing via transmitter. Successive audio signa turns into 1 and 0 digital signal and by sending wireless radio frequency to surrounding, wireless microphone system transmits the sound. Ultra High Frequency (UHF) range is usually around 300MHz-3GHz but the legal frequency is different in every country. Hence, before purchasing the equipment, you will have to confirmed with the manufacture or retailers. 2.4GHz is another digital frequency and its range is 2400-2483.5MHZ. It is legal frequency range in most countries.

In general, with microphone (transmitter), our vocal become a continuously change in voltage and this “continuous signal change ” is what we called analog signal. After analog signal processing , the signal will become a non-sequence digital signal of 0 and 1, which the signal will be delivered from low frequency to high frequency.

Wireless Receiver
What is different between single diversity and true diversity?
RF can be divided into single diversity or true diversity. However, how should we choose in-between these two different diversities? This could be decided by space and occasion. If small space, low budget and the long transmission distance is not requirement, the single diversity will be good enough for the user; yet, if you holding a big event, we will recommend to use true diversity receiver as generally, it has longer transmission distance and better signal than single diversity. Also, it has two antennas built in the true diversity receiver. When the true diversity receiver is interfered, it will detect which antenna has better signal and will use that antenna to received signal.

Single diversity receiver recommendation UDR-6FD4
Signal is clear and stable. Suitable for small space

True diversity receiver recommendation UDR-7FD4
True diversity receiver is suitable to use in long distance space and large event room.

Transmitter
There are two different type of wireless microphone to match with SENRUN wireless microphone systems : handheld wireless microphone and bodypack wireless transmitter. Handheld microphone has transmitter bult right into the unit. For the bodypack wireless transmitter, it requires microphone as output to deliver the sound. SENRUN wireless microphone comes with different style, which is headworn microphone, lapel microphone or earworn microphone.

Where do plan to use the systems?
Wireless microphone systems can be used in classroom, KTV, conference, big or small event and so on.  In the following article, it will help you to find the right systems for your need.
Systems for Karoke : DUH-58/DUR-30

The system is operated by digital UHF. It provides professional detail sound and stable signal. Its step up is very user-friendly and straightforward. With auto-scan technology, it allows quick and easy selection of an interference free operating frequency. This solution has many practices in Taiwan KTV.

Classroom, lectures and conference.:USR-6FD series
USR-6FD series is single diversity.it is able to deliver clear, quality sound. It can be used up to 4 transmitters and it is very suitable to the small room.
